Benefits of Membership
As a member of the Young Manufacturers Network, individuals have opportunities to GROW in their career, build COMMUNITY in the industry, and SHARE their experiences with other like-minded individuals.
GROW
Through access to training, leadership opportunities, and educational programming, the Young Manufacturers Network is developing a workforce fit to drive change in the manufacturing industry. Those in the network will have access to a 15% discount on all MANTEC trainings*, free lunch and learn opportunities, and additional support for growth in their manufacturing career.
COMMUNITY
We want to build a workforce that feels belonging in South Central Pennsylvania. The Young Manufacturers Network gives exclusive access to monthly networking events called Manufacturing Meet Up's that are for those within industry to build their network with like-minded individuals in the region. Additionally, there are opportunities to serve alongside their peers at annual service events and outings.
SHARE
Members of the Young Manufacturers Network are given opportunities to share about their roles in their own organizations during Manufacturing Tours at facilities across the region. They can share success stories and learning outcomes as they host the group. Additionally, starting in 2025, there will be opportunities to share their experience through a mentorship program.
What does a "Member" look like?
If you are a young person in the manufacturing industry, you will belong in the Young Manufacturers Network. Whether you are in a role in operations, engineering, sales and marketing, or HR, there is a place for you here. This network is meant to build up anyone from a welder or fabricator to an early leader within an organization, but there are a few key demographics we see as part of our membership base.
